Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get started?
You need an invite code from an existing FamiVox user. Enter the code on the login screen, verify your email with the OTP sent to you, and set up your first family member to start building your tree.
How do I add family members?
Tap the gear icon on any person in the tree, then use "Add Father", "Add Mother", "Add Spouse", or "Add Child" to grow your tree.
How do I search for relationships?
Use the Search tab to select any two people in your tree. FamiVox will show you exactly how they are related, with a visual path from one person to the other.
How do I invite family members?
Go to Settings and use the invite feature to generate a unique invite link. Share it with your family members so they can join and contribute to the tree.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Open an issue on GitHub to request account deletion. Do not include your email address or any personal details in the issue — we will follow up privately. Your personal data will be removed within 30 days.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
